Boris Tistan

Boris Tistan is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Head of Platform and Group Manager AI at Volue since August 2020. Prior to this role, Boris worked at Powel AS from June 2014 to August 2020, holding positions including Group Manager Powel.AI, Analytics Program Manager, and Data Science Expert, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of machine learning products and leading initiatives in electricity demand and renewable energy forecasting. Earlier experience includes roles as a Smart Energy Developer focusing on water resource management and summer internships at Kyushu University and Powel AS, where programming expertise was developed. Boris holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Košice, obtained between 2009 and 2014.
