Dr. Yuli Tsai

Dr. YuLi Tsai has extensive experience as an applied mathematician in various companies and organizations. They worked as a Technical Business Director at Volue, where they focused on digital transformation for the energy industry using information technology and advanced business algorithms. Prior to that, they were an Applied Mathematician at PwC Japan, where they developed risk management and portfolio optimization frameworks for energy companies. They also worked as an Applied Mathematician at The University of Tokyo, Deloitte, Mitsubishi Research Institute, and PwC Taiwan, where they were involved in various research and development projects related to mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, data analytics, and stress testing in different industries.

Dr. YuLi Tsai earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematical Engineering & Mathematical Informatics from The University of Tokyo, completing the program between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (summa cum laude) in Applied Mathematics (Specializing in computational science & engineering) from National Chung Hsing University, which they completed between 2010 and 2012.
