Per Almbladh

Per Almbladh has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Per began their career at ABB as a Development Engineer, where they worked on software development for the Automation Control System ABB 800xA. In 2008, they joined E.ON Energihandel Nordic as a Power Dispatcher.

Per then moved to E.ON Global Commodities in the same year, where they took on the role of Power Trader and remained there until 2013. After that, they joined Sapient Global Markets as a Senior Business Consultant, specializing in Energy Trading and Risk Management.

In 2014, they joined Nord Pool AS as a Business Developer, focused on Innovation and Market Design. Per later became a Product Manager for UMM & Concept Development and then Product Manager for Day-ahead Markets. Per remained with the company until 2020.

Currently, Per Almbladh is working at Volue as the Head of Product Strategy, a role they started in February 2021. Per also holds the position of Senior Portfolio Manager since May 2020. Per is expected to take on the role of Head of Product Management, Volue Energy Market Services in July 2023.

Per Almbladh obtained their B.Sc. degree in Business and Economics from Lund University from 2003 to 2005. Per also earned an M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1999 to 2005. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, obtained in January 2018, and as a Completed Trans-European Energy Networks from Credly in 2016.
