Sara Spanich

Sara Spanich serves as the Director of Children's Programs at Volunteers of America Colorado, overseeing early childhood education initiatives, Camp POSTCARD, and the Adopt-a-Family Program, while also acting as Head Start Director. Previous roles include Education and Disabilities Manager, where Sara coordinated inclusive educational services for children, and Community Affairs Associate with the Colorado Rockies, focusing on participant safety. Sara has extensive experience in education, having held positions such as School Director at Tiny Hearts Academy and Primrose Schools, as well as Enrollment Director at Brain Balance. With a solid foundation in child care and recreational programming from Lakeshore Athletic Club Flatiron, Sara holds a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
