Dayna Kurnitz

Dayna Kurnitz, LMSW, SIFI, has extensive experience in social work, with current roles as a Social Worker and Client Care Coordinator Supervisor at Volunteers of America-Greater New York since August 2019. Prior to this, Dayna served in various capacities, including Clinical Social Worker and Case Monitor for the Assisted Outpatient Treatment Program at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from June 2015 to January 2019, and as a Substance Abuse Prevention & Intervention Specialist and MSW Field Instructor within the New York City Department of Education from October 2000 to June 2015. Dayna's earlier work includes positions as a Family Specialist at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services and a Service Coordinator at United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, as well as a Counselor at Young Adult Institute. Dayna holds a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta.
