Gema Moreno

Gema Moreno has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gema began their career at Tupelo Honey Productions in 2005 as a Field Production Assistant and later became a Production Office Coordinator. Gema also worked as a Post Production Coordinator at Atlas Media Corp and MTV Productions. In 2007, Gema joined RFD-TV as an Associate Producer for Imus In The Morning. Gema then worked as a Producer at Voyage.tv, where they produced segments and studio shows highlighting international travel destinations. Gema also worked as a Media Researcher at Vocus before joining AMVETS National Headquarters as a National Programs Associate and Career Center Director, overseeing the Career Center program. In 2016, Gema joined Volunteers of America Mid-States as a Community Engagement Manager, responsible for volunteer coordination and community outreach. Gema later became the Sr. Program Manager of Beaded Treasures and Community Engagement, overseeing workshops and retail opportunities. Gema'smost recent role was Director of Community Impact, where they led community engagement efforts and strategic partnerships. In 2022, Gema transitioned to their current role as Director of Business Development at Volunteers of America Mid-States, where they focus on the development and implementation of new program services.
