Kelsey Cashem

Independent Living Coach at Volunteers of America of Florida, Inc.

Kelsey Cashem has extensive experience in roles focused on support and education within the criminal justice and rehabilitation sectors. Currently serving as an Independent Living Coach at Volunteers of America of Florida, Inc. since February 2021, Kelsey works to empower individuals toward independent living. Concurrently, Kelsey has been a Course Facilitator at Eastern Kentucky University since August 2018. Previously, Kelsey held positions as a Case Manager at Tampa Bay Academy of Hope, where efforts were directed towards assisting former inmates in community reintegration, and at Kentucky Specialty Courts, where the focus was on supporting individuals in recovery from substance abuse. Kelsey's foundational roles included serving as a Graduate Assistant and Committee Intern, highlighting a strong commitment to public policy and education. Kelsey holds a Master's degree in Criminology and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, both from Eastern Kentucky University.
