Travis Brown

Travis Brown has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Travis started their career at Coastal Heritage Society in 2004, where they worked as a Project Manager for almost 9 years. In 2013, they transitioned to Volunteers of America of Florida, Inc. as the Regional Director of Community Development. After a year, they were promoted to Director of Housing and Development and then recently became the VP of Housing and Development in January 2020.

Travis Brown pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at the College of Charleston from 1998 to 2002. During this period, they focused on studying Community Planning and Historic Preservation. Following this, Travis continued their educational journey at the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2006. Here, they completed their Masters of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation.
