Nicole Toombs

Nicole Toombs serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana since September 2020. Previously, Nicole held the position of Director of Marketing at Hondros Education Group, where responsibilities included overseeing email marketing campaigns and serving as editor-in-chief of a publication. Prior to that, Nicole worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Goldfish Swim School, focusing on local marketing initiatives, and as an Account Executive at RMD Advertising, where strategic marketing plans were developed for national clients. Nicole's career began at Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, progressing from Wish Coordinator to Marketing and Communications Manager, gaining extensive experience in media relations and wish program management. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Westminster College, obtained in 1994.
