Amanda Mellor

Director at Volution Group

Amanda Mellor is a British business executive who is currently the Director at Volution Group. Amanda has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles in a variety of industries.

Mellor began their career in investment banking in Paris before moving to London to work for Robert Fleming & Co. Ltd. In 1995, they transitioned into the retail industry as the Director of Corporate and Investor Relations for Arcadia Group Plc/The Burton Group plc. Amanda then spent four years as the Group Secretary and Head of Corporate Governance for Marks and Spencer.

In 2011, Mellor became a Non Executive Director for Kier Group and also took on the role of Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds’ Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied Centre. In April 2019, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as their Group Company Secretary but left the role in December 2021 to return to Volution Group as their Director.

Throughout their career, Mellor has been an advocate for corporate governance and ethical business practices. Amanda is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and was honoured with their Fellowship in 2003.
