Alice Franzon

Alice Franzon has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Alice is currently working as a Content Creator & Social Media Manager at Volvero since November 2022.

Prior to this, Alice held several positions at the University of Leeds. From January 2014 to June 2020, they worked as a Researcher, Tutor, and Public Speaker, focusing on resistance to nazi-fascism and teaching Italian language and culture. Alice also organized multiple national and international conferences during this time. From October 2017 to December 2019, Alice served as the Founder and Director of "Italeeds. Researching Italy from Leeds," an interdisciplinary network dedicated to all things Italian at the university. In this role, they successfully managed events and handled funding applications, planning, administration, and digital communications. Additionally, Alice worked as a Doctoral College Communications Officer from January 2019 to August 2019 and as a Communications and Events Officer for LivItaly from October 2011 to November 2017, where they managed marketing, communications, and web content for the program of public events.

Alice also has experience in political communications and events. Alice worked at Partito Democratico from May 2013 to August 2014, initially as a Communications and Events Officer and later as a Communications, Research, and Events Officer.

In addition to their professional experience, Alice has expertise in communications, digital content strategy, creation, web design, and management. Alice has built, updated, and maintained websites and social media accounts for academic, cultural, and political organizations. Alice has also created digital graphics for various socially-engaged and cultural projects, including designing the cover for a book.

Alice Franzon has an extensive education history. Alice obtained a Ba Hons degree in Lettere Moderne from Università degli Studi di Padova from 2007 to 2010. Alice then pursued their Master's degree in Italian Studies at the University of Leeds, earning a Master by Research with Distinction from 2011 to 2013. Alice furthered their education by completing a PhD in Italian Studies at the University of Leeds from 2014 to 2018.

In 2020, Alice attended Talent Garden Innovation School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Content Design and Creation. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications throughout their career.
