Nicklas Frenne

Nicklas Frenne is an expert in product development with a focus on engineering acoustics, currently holding the position of Expert Product Development at Volvo Construction Equipment since January 2017. Previously, Nicklas served as a technology specialist in NVH and a test engineer for sound and vibration at Volvo Construction Equipment from 2005 to 2010. Prior experience includes working as a development engineer in NVH at Volvo Car Group from 2004 to 2005. Academically, Nicklas holds a PhD in Technical Acoustics from Luleå University of Technology, where the research focused on acoustic time histories of vibrating partial sources, and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in sound and vibration from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Additionally, Nicklas has studied at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) at the University of Southampton.
