Pasi Sormunen

Pasi Sormunen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Pasi started their career in 1994 at Oy Rolac Ab, where they worked in IT support and later as a biller/invoicing specialist. In 1995, they also worked as a freelancer for Helsinki Mediat Oy's Tietokone lehti. Pasi then joined Coca Cola Juomat Oy in 1998 as an IS support analyst.

In 1998, Pasi moved to Volvo Construction Equipment Finland Oy, where they held various roles throughout their career. Pasi started as an ICT specialist and later became an IT domain manager. Currently, they are working as an IT solution lead.

Aside from their corporate experience, Pasi has also pursued their passion for coaching. Pasi served as a coach for various sports teams, including HIFK from 2018 to 2020, Kirkkonummen Salamat / Red Wings Helsinki from 2015 to 2018, and Kirkkonummi Rangers -02 from 2013 to 2015.

Pasi Sormunen's education history includes completing a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology from Espoonlahden kauppaoppilaitos (Business college) from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, Pasi attended Porkkalan lukio (Coeducational upper secondary school) and graduated as a Secondary school graduate from 1986 to 1989. Pasi also attended Suomen yrittäjä opisto (Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management) from 1993 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in IT design in the field of Information Technology.

Pasi Sormunen has obtained additional certifications including ITIL 4® Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2021, and ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from the same institution in 2021.
