Scott Young

Scott Young serves as the President and Head of Region North America at Volvo Construction Equipment, a position held since April 2007, where Scott leads an exceptional team focused on connecting customers to success through innovation, sustainability, and partnership. Prior roles include Vice President Uptime & Customer Support Sales Region Americas, where Scott supported teams across North and Latin America in strategic initiatives to enhance machine uptime and customer support. Additionally, Scott has held several key positions related to electromobility and automation, demonstrating expertise in developing and executing strategies for future technologies. With a background in managing independent distribution networks at both Volvo and Ingersoll Rand, Scott's extensive experience is complemented by an MBA from Gies College of Business and a Civil Engineering degree from South Dakota Mines.
