Susan Wei started their career in 2000 as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at Magnetimarelli Powertrain Shanghai. Susan then joined Volvo Construction Equipment in 2004 as an SD Manager, where they focused on developing supplier quality, delivery, and cost to meet Volvo requirements. In 2008, they became a Supplier Development Director at Volvo, responsible for developing supplier management strategies and leading suppliers in management, operations, and people development. Susan's next role was Global Supplier Development Director - Powertrain at Volvo Construction Equipment, where they worked from 2012 to 2014. Finally, they became the Vice President of Operations SDLG business at Volvo Construction Equipment in 2014.

Susan Wei obtained a Bachelor's degree in Auto Design & Manufacturing from Shandong University of Science and Technology in 1993. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Industry Engineering with a focus on quality management from Tongji University, completing their studies in 2008. In 2009, they attended China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), where they earned an MBA with a concentration in EMBA in 2011.
