Alessandro Galluzzi

Alessandro Galluzzi has extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain management within the automotive industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of APAC Purchasing at Volvo Group since December 2005. With responsibilities encompassing direct materials and indirect products purchasing across the Asia Pacific region, Alessandro oversees a significant annual spend, previously holding roles such as Senior Vice President of Indirect Purchasing and Vice President of Volvo Group Purchasing. Prior to joining Volvo, Alessandro worked at General Motors from September 2002 to October 2005 in various purchasing roles, including Purchasing Manager and Commodity Manager. Earlier career experiences include a position as Project Purchasing Manager at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and service as a Military Officer in the Italian Air Force. Alessandro holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genoa.
