Chandrakant Maheshwari

Chandrakant Maheshwari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in vehicle engineering and management. Currently serving as Group Manager/Assistant General Manager for Suspension at Volvo Group since December 2022, Chandrakant focuses on the design and development of suspension systems for the Volvo, Renault, and Mack brands, while managing project responsibilities, quality deliveries, and team development. Prior to this role, Chandrakant held several key positions at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, including Assistant General Manager for Product Architecture and Head of Entire Vehicle, overseeing the implementation of quality management processes and leading major projects like the Bharat Stage VI initiative. With a strong educational background comprising an M. Tech. in Machine Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and ongoing executive management studies at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Chandrakant combines technical expertise with strategic leadership in the automotive sector.
