Jan Berg

Jan Berg has extensive experience in the automotive industry, primarily with Volvo Group since February 2013, serving in various leadership roles including Vice President VPS, Quality and Environment, Vice President Operations, and Director of Assembly at the Köping plant. In this capacity, Jan Berg has focused on achieving World Class Manufacturing standards through the implementation of lean principles from the Volvo Production System. Jan Berg also has a history of auditing and coaching over 10 production sites globally as a Senior VPS Coach. Prior experience includes roles at Volvo Powertrain from January 2006 to February 2013, where Jan Berg was instrumental in VPS implementation at the Köping Gearbox Plant and managed the gearbox machining process involving nearly 400 employees. Jan Berg holds a degree from Tekniska högskolan vid Linköpings universitet, obtained between 1982 and 1988.
