Johan Lindqvist

Johan Lindqvist is an experienced professional with a strong background in advanced vehicle engineering and project management. At Volvo Group since August 2012, Johan has held key roles including GTT Digital Engineering Portfolio & Governance Manager and Group Manager for Advanced Vehicle Engineering and Concepts, overseeing project portfolios and budgets for advanced engineering within Trucks Vehicle Engineering. Johan has also served as a program manager for various advanced engineering projects focused on passive safety and lightweight design. Prior experience includes significant positions at Volvo Powertrain and Autoliv, specializing in components like valve trains and airbag inflators. Johan's educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and certifications as a European Welding Engineer and International Welding Engineer. Additionally, Johan served as a keynote speaker at the SIMTech Annual Manufacturing Forum, discussing material and lightweight design development in commercial vehicles.
