Pablo Puñal Pereira

Pablo Puñal Pereira is an established expert in cyber security and technology, currently serving as an Expert Cyber Security Officer at Volvo Group since January 2024. Previously, Pablo held the position of Chief Technology Officer at ThingWave AB from February 2016 to January 2024, focusing on delivering Industrial IoT solutions to enhance sustainability, productivity, safety, and efficiency. Pablo's experience also includes being a Senior Software Developer at Cybercom Group from February 2017 to December 2021 and a PhD Student at Luleå University of Technology, where research concentrated on the efficiency and security of the Industrial Internet of Things. Pablo's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Electronics Engineering from Luleå University of Technology and multiple degrees in Electronic Engineering and Physics from University of Valencia and University of Santiago de Compostela.
