Avishek Mitra

Avishek Mitra has over 18 years of experience in sales and marketing in the heavy machinery and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Area Sales Manager at Volvo Trucks India since June 2011, Avishek oversees sales and market development in the North East, West Bengal, and Jharkhand regions, with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles for mining and hydro power projects. Prior to this role, Avishek worked as Deputy Manager-Sales at TIL Limited, managing mobile cranes sales across multiple states, and held positions at International Combustion (India) Ltd. and CADD CENTRE INDIA PVT. LTD., specializing in marketing and franchise development. Avishek holds an EPGPBM in Marketing from SIES-Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University.
