Sharath Chandra has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years in the automotive industry. Sharath started their career as a trainee technician at Arvind Motors, gaining hands-on experience in servicing and repairs of Tata commercial vehicles. Sharath then moved on to Daewoo Motors India, where they served as the Regional Service Incharge, responsible for after-sales support in multiple states. Later, they joined Tractors and Farm Equipments as a Service Manager, focusing on enhancing after-market support in Karnataka. Subsequently, Sharath worked as a Dealer Development Manager at Volvo India (P) Ltd, and later took on the role of Senior Manager in Dealer Development at Volvo Trucks India. In their latest role as Head of Dealer Development and IMS at Volvo Trucks India, Sharath designed key performance indicators to monitor and enhance dealer operations. Overall, they have a strong background in dealer development, service management, and after-sales support.
Sharath Chandra attended the University of Mysore from 1987 to 1991, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering. During the same period, they attended the Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, and also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automobile.
