Miguel Javier

Miguel Javier has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in test engineering and design within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Test Engineer at Volvo Trucks North America since May 2019, Miguel specializes in developing tests and methods for noise, vibration, harshness, climate comfort tuning, and HVAC system performance. Previously, Miguel worked at ARi - Systems, Design, Controls, Testing as a D&R/NVH Test Engineer, where responsibilities included designing test rigs, conducting durability simulations, and processing data for analysis. Miguel's experience also includes roles as a Contract Design Engineer for Caterpillar, NDT Technician at ARi, and a part-time consultant engineer at Initech, along with an intern position at Electro-Motive Diesel and a research assistant role at Illinois Institute of Technology. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
