Maria Thorn is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Volvo Group and other companies. Serving as VP Controlling & Planning at Volvo Trucks since February 2019, Maria previously held the position of VP Business Control for Sales Region International at AB Volvo Penta. With a strong background as CFO at various entities such as Volvo Trucks & Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks France, Maria's expertise extends to financial management, credit, and treasury functions. Early career experiences include roles in finance at EN-Group and Piaggio Sverige AB, complemented by foundational knowledge as an accountant at BASF Svenska AB. Maria holds a degree from the University of Gothenburg, completed in 1992.
