Pedro Rodrigues

Pedro Rodrigues is an accomplished Fuel Cell System Engineer with extensive experience in the development and optimization of fuel cell technologies. Currently employed at Volvo Trucks since October 2024, Pedro previously held similar roles at Hypermotive and Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology, where responsibilities included innovative test station operation and effective experimental design. As the Head of TSB - Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Systems at Técnico Solar Boat, Pedro led the creation of the first Portuguese fuel cell-powered boat and advanced R&D efforts in various areas including hydrogen storage systems and green hydrogen production. Pedro also contributed to the academic sphere through collaborations with Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica at Técnico Lisboa and a scholarship position at Fidelidade. Pedro holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
