Alwin Bakkenes is a seasoned leader in the automotive and mobility technology sectors, currently serving as Head of Software Engineering at Volvo Cars since November 2022, where Alwin leads the development of next-generation mobility technology stacks. In addition, Alwin holds multiple chairman roles, notably at Zenseact, focusing on AI-driven car safety innovations, and at HaleyTek AB, where the Android Infotainment Platform is developed for various vehicle brands. With prior experience as Vice President at Aptiv and Executive Vice President at Luxoft, Alwin has significantly contributed to advancements in automated driving and connected vehicle systems.
