Erik Hjerpe

Erik Hjerpe is the Head of Strategy & Enablement for the Engineering Data Hub at Volvo Cars, where they lead efforts in data, analytics, and AI. Previously, they served as Program Director for Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence at Volvo Car Group, overseeing a team focused on implementing ML and AI across various projects. Erik's extensive experience at Volvo Cars included roles as Director of Innovation & Technology Business and Senior Manager for Innovation and Intellectual Property, where they drove research and development innovation strategies. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at Autoliv, where they managed product development operations and contributed to innovative safety technologies. Erik holds a Master's degree in Machine Design and Vehicle Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
