James Hau

James Hau is a Staff Engineer at Volvo Cars, bringing extensive programming and system integration experience from previous roles at Spotify as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where they led diverse teams and managed complex data engineering tasks. James has also worked as a System Developer at Scania, honing their skills in project management, user cases, and testing. They earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan and are currently completing their master thesis on architectural patterns in software development at Mediasmiths Nordic. In addition to their technical expertise, James has developed strong interpersonal skills through roles in customer support and as a teaching assistant.
