Nikhil Vijendran

Nikhil Vijendran is a Product Design Engineer at Volvo Cars since August 2021, focusing on the redesign and development of rear underrun protection systems for trucks. Prior experience includes working as an Engineering Consultant at MCA Sweden AB from February 2017 to September 2021 and as a Design Engineer at Alten Sweden from April 2015 to January 2017. Nikhil also gained experience as a Master Thesis Student at Volvo Trucks in early 2014 and completed internships at SKF Group and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, where skills in design automation and fabrication were developed. Nikhil holds a Master of Science in Product Development from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
