Preston Pylant

Preston Pylant is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, writing, and operational roles. Currently serving as a Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator at Snap-on and a Food and Beverage Specialist at the Von Braun Center, Preston has also established a long-term career as a self-employed writer and poet since 1996. Prior educational roles include English Teacher positions at Ardmore High School and Huntsville City Schools, as well as substitute teaching within the Limestone County Board of Education. Preston’s teaching experience is complemented by a tenure as an Adjunct Professor at John C. Calhoun State Community College and a Student Teacher position at Ardmore High School. Preston holds a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Athens State University and an Associate of Arts in Theatre from Calhoun Community College.
