Von Paris Moving and Storage

The Von Paris story is a page out of Baltimore history as well as the history of the moving and storage industry. It begins in 1892 when a young German immigrant who, through his entrepreneurial spirit, began a small business to help people move their belongings as their jobs relocated around Baltimore. Since 1892, the name Von Paris has been synonymous with quality. We were one of the first moving and storage companies in the country to convert to a motorized fleet and were pioneers of long distance moving. From our beginning, Von Paris has been a family-owned and operated business. Today, third, fourth and fifth generation family members continue to provide outstanding service as “The Mover with the Gentle Touch.” Our expansive facilities include five locations in the Baltimore-Washington region offering diversified transportation, storage and logistics services locally, regionally, across the nation and around the world. Von Paris personnel are experts in household local, long distance and international moving. We also provide many commercial moving and storage services including document storage, office and industrial moving and air freight services. Furthermore, we are highly trained in handling and storing specialized cargo such as electronic and medical equipment, machinery, trade show exhibits, and fine art items such as the King Tut exhibit.
