Ariel Garfio-Vazquez

Ariel Garfio-Vazquez is a Partner at Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C., specializing in energy, mining, infrastructure, maritime law, and government procurement and public works since September 2017. Previously, Ariel served as Counsel at Von Wobeser, advising clients on project development and finance in various sectors. Additionally, Ariel held the role of Transactional and Regulatory Legal Manager at EDF Renewable Energy, focusing on contracts and regulatory compliance for wind and solar projects in Mexico. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Associate at Von Wobeser, providing legal advice to energy companies, and as Legal Manager at GCC, overseeing legal matters in Mexico and LATAM. Ariel obtained an LL.M. in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a Licenciado en Derecho from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua.
