Janette Labuschagne

Janette Labuschagne started their work experience in 2016 as a Candidate Attorney, Attorney & Notary at Louw Le Roux Incorporated. Janette then worked as an Owner, Attorney & Notary at De Koster Attorneys from January 2018 to September 2018. Janette then joined Velile Tinto & Associates as a Legal Manager, Attorney & Notary from September 2018 to November 2019. In their role, they were responsible for corporate governance, compliance, risk management, staff performance management, court attendances, interactions with clients, drafting legal documents, providing legal opinions, and overseeing large corporate negotiations. Janette'smost recent work experience is at VONQ, where they started as a Legal Intern in August 2021. Janette then became a Legal Counsel in November 2021 and currently holds the position of Head of Legal as of June 2022.

Janette Labuschagne completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied from 2012 until 2015. Janette then pursued further education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Master of International Trade Law degree in International Law and Legal Studies from 2020 to 2021.
