Ganesh Kalpundi

Ganesh leads Vontier’s overall strategy efforts, creating new paths for growth and unlocking opportunities to catalyze innovation and strengthen their competitive position. The strategy team collaborates across Vontier’s operating companies, leveraging the Vontier Business System to build out options for profitable, sustainable differentiation and growth.

Prior to joining Vontier in 2022, Ganesh was Vice President of Enterprise Strategy at Johnson Controls, where he drove the overall strategy and long-range plan for the $23B enterprise and defined high-impact growth sectors spanning decarbonization, smart connected buildings, and data centers. In previous roles at Johnson Controls, Booz & Company, and DaimlerChrysler, he led digital transformation strategy and applied first principles thinking to a range of strategic opportunities.

Ganesh holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, an MS in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech, and a BE in mechanical engineering from Osmania University in India. Ganesh has maintained a passion for cars and high-performance driving since his automotive engineering days. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife.
