Maryrose Sylvester

Maryrose brings significant experience transforming industrial businesses and extensive knowledge of global product development and marketing to the Vontier board. In 2021 she joined the board of Waste Management and is a member of its Management Development and Compensation committee. She has served on the board of Harley-Davidson since 2016 and is a member of its Human Resources and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees.

From 2019 to 2020, Maryrose served as Managing Director and Head of Electrification for the U.S. at ABB Group, a global technology company specializing in electrification, robotics, power, and automation. She previously spent more than 30 years at General Electric, where she held a number of leadership roles including President and CEO of GE Current, President and CEO of GE Lighting, and President and CEO of GE Intelligent Platforms, which focused on industrial automation.

Maryrose holds a BSBA in Procurement and Production Management from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University. She lives in the Boston area.
