R.J. Caligiuri, CPA, CIA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. R.J. is currently serving as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Vontier, a $3B industrial technology company focused on transportation and mobility. Prior to this, R.J. held the position of Vice President of Internal Audit at Cerner Corporation, a Fortune 500 company with $5.7B in revenue. R.J. also served as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Welbilt Inc., a $1.6B commercial kitchen equipment designer and manufacturer.
Before their roles in internal audit, R.J. worked at Masonite, a $2B global door manufacturer, where they held the position of Chief Auditor and Director of Global Compliance & Risk. R.J. managed a large audit team and demonstrated strong leadership skills during periods of change. R.J. also has experience in the field of risk assessment and SOX compliance, as they worked as a Manager in Internal Audit Services at PwC.
Prior to their career in the corporate sector, R.J. served as a Network Analyst at AT&T, where they managed network outages and prepared detailed reports on the causes and corrective actions taken. Additionally, R.J. has a background in the United States Marine Corp, where they served as a Sergeant for six years.
With their extensive experience in audit, compliance, risk management, and leadership, R.J. brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Vontier.
R.J. Caligiuri, CPA, CIA completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of South Florida from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the same university from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida from 2001 to 2004. In terms of certifications, R.J. obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation from the Institute Of Internal Auditors in December 2013 and became a Certified Public Accountant through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in 2007.
