Daniel Maier

Daniel Maier, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Thematic Investing and Portfolio Manager at Vontobel since October 2018. Previous experience includes roles as Investment Strategist and Equity Research Analyst at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG, and Investment Analyst at Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank. From 2013 to 2016, Daniel held positions as Portfolio Manager and Equity Research Analyst at TBF Global Asset Management GmbH. An early career included an internship in investment planning at AUDI AG and a corporate internship at Commerzbank AG. Military training was completed with the Bundeswehr in 2006-2007. Daniel holds a Diplom-Kaufmann in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Augsburg and studied at Handelshögskolan vid Karlstads universitet.
