Roman W.

Roman W. has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Roman began their career as an Information Technology Trainee at Siemens in 1996 and worked there until 2000. Roman then joined Golden Delicious Group AG as a System Specialist in 2000. Roman moved on to Ticketcorner AG in 2001, where they served as a Ticketing Software Specialist and later as a Software Developer In Test until 2008. In the same year, they also worked briefly as a Web Application Developer at Cinerent AG. From 2008 to 2011, Roman worked at SiSprocom GmbH as a System Engineer. Roman then joined Zürcher Kantonalbank in 2012 and held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and Deputy Team Lead. In 2015, they moved to Quantica Capital AG, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Portfolio Manager. In 2018, Roman joined Vontobel as a Financial Engineer Electronic Trading and also served as a Deputy Team Lead. In 2019, they became the Head Trading Product Development. Roman's most recent work experience is with SIX, where they currently hold the role of a Cash Market Advisory Board Member starting from 2022.

From 2005 to 2011, Roman W. attended Hochschule für Technik Zürich - HSZ-T, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing. FH degree in Computer Science. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications, including the SIX Trading License from SIX in June 2019, the Xetra Trading License from Deutsche Börse in June 2019, and the Eurex Trading License from Deutsche Börse in October 2018.
