Thomas Schmid

Thomas Schmid serves as the Head of Operation Services at Vontobel since November 2018, overseeing teams in Business Operations, including Trade Middle Office and Business Analysis. Additionally, since August 2017, Thomas has been the Head of Operations Trading & Treasury at ARIZON Sourcing AG, managing departments focused on Trade Processing and Treasury Processing. Previous roles include Head of Securities Processing at ARIZON Sourcing AG (2015-2017), Head of Securities and Custody Services at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG (2010-2015), Head of Corporate Actions at Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers (2009-2010), and Fachspezialist Clearing and Settlement at Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers (2005-2008). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Banking & Finance from Kalaidos Fachhochschule Schweiz (2013-2015) and an Eidg. Dipl.
