Bastiaan de Voogd

Bastiaan de Voogd serves as the non-executive Chairman of the Board at Alpina Group since June 2021 and has been instrumental as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and CEO at Voogd & Voogd Verzekeringen since 1998, where the organization specializes in connecting brokers to insurers in the Dutch P&C market. Between June 2016 and September 2023, Bastiaan chaired the Prinses Máxima Centrum Foundation, dedicated to advancing pediatric oncology. Additionally, Bastiaan held the position of board member and chairman at the NVGA from 2004 to 2008, representing the interests of delegated insurance companies. Bastiaan's career began as a partner at De Voogd van der Heide actuarial consulting firm from May 1990 to December 1997, and education was obtained at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1983 to 1986.
