Ben Misley

Ben Misley has an extensive work experience, starting from their role as President and Co-Founder of the Student Facilities Improvement Team at Oregon State University in 2007. Ben then went on to work as the Center Manager at the Department of Recreational Sports at Oregon State University from 2007 to 2010.

In 2011, Ben joined KeyBank as a Key Community Banking Management Associate and later became a Licensed Relationship Manager. Ben provided a range of financial services and assisted in branch management.

From 2013 to 2020, Ben held various positions at Mercy Corps, including Senior Loan Officer, Loan Program Manager, and Small Business Financing Manager. Ben played a pivotal role in providing capital and support to underserved entrepreneurs, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Ben is working at Vooks, where they started as an Acquisitions Manager before moving into roles as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Sales Operations, and now holds the position of Senior Director of Finance and Operations. Vooks is an animated children's book streaming platform that focuses on quality screen time for kids.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated expertise in finance, operations, strategic partnerships, sales, and managing lending programs. Ben has a strong track record in providing funding, mentoring, and support to small businesses and is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs.

Ben Misley attended Oregon State University from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (3) degree in Finance, Management, and Business Administration. In 2009, they also studied International Business at City University of Hong Kong for a short period.
