Patrick O'Hern

Patrick O'Hern, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Strategic Alliances at Vor Bio since September 2025, following a similar role at Sarepta Therapeutics from May 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of partnered assets in genetic medicines. Prior to these roles, Patrick held various positions at Charles River Laboratories, including Associate Director of GEMS Client Portfolio Management, overseeing over 1100 research projects and leading a team of twenty-five. Other experiences include an Account Director role at Human Care Systems, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School focusing on neuroscience research, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University. Patrick earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Brown University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Neuroscience from Union College in 2011.
