Debajyoti Das

Debajyoti Das has nearly 24 years of work experience in the technology industry. Debajyoti began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked from June 1996 to March 1998. Debajyoti then joined VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.) in April 1998 as a Senior Programmer Analyst. In this role, they worked with clients from various industries to help them migrate to S2K ERP software and develop custom solutions.

Debajyoti's role at VAI evolved over the years, and they eventually became the Senior Web Developer from January 2003 to February 2009. Debajyoti built VAI's first e-commerce solution using LANSA for the Web and customized the e-commerce solutions for different industries. Debajyoti also played a key role in VAI's migration to the IBM Portal e-commerce solution.

From March 2009 to December 2011, Debajyoti worked as a Senior Integration Specialist at VAI. Debajyoti integrated various shipping systems and backend order processing with credit card systems, enhancing the company's capabilities in package ratings, labels, and e-commerce.

In January 2012, Debajyoti became the Chief Architect of Mobile Development at VAI, where they were responsible for designing and developing native mobile applications. Debajyoti led a team of 6 people and created mobile apps with offline capabilities that seamlessly integrated with VAI's S2K ERP solution. Debajyoti deployed these apps to over 50 clients and provided daily support.

Debajyoti's most recent role at VAI is the VP of Mobile Development, which they took on in December 2019. In this position, they collaborate with company leadership to develop business and technology roadmaps, set short and long-term goals, and seek out innovative opportunities and products for future developments.
