Corinne Renier

Director of R&D at Vortex Biosciences

Corinne is an experienced Director of R&D and team leader, with over 20 years of research experience in academia and start-up environment.

She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the National Center for Scientific Research at the University of Rennes 1 (France) and completed her postdoctoral training in pharmacogenomics at Stanford School of Medicine. Before joining Vortex Biosciences, she was a staff Research Scientist in the Department of Surgery at Stanford School of Medicine where she evaluated molecular targets for tumor radiosensitization in models of breast cancer brain metastasis. Her research work has resulted in the publication of 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles.

Corinne is passionate about leveraging her broad knowledge of scientific and technical principles to contribute to the development of innovative, multiprong approaches to advance the understanding of cancer, to ultimately detect and treat it early when it is easier to cure.
