Michelle Mays

Michelle Mays, MBA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at Vortex Companies since December 2017. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Corporate Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant at Nine Energy Service from July 2014 to December 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as Staff Accountant II at Hines from February 2011 to February 2014 and as General Accountant at InterAmerican Coffee from June 2008 to February 2011. Michelle began their career at Hammersmith Financial LP, where the title held was Staff Accountant. Academic credentials include an MBA in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Lonestar College.
