Bryan S. Jenkins

Lead Design Engineer at Vortex Control Technologies

Bryan S. Jenkins is the Lead Design Engineer of VCT. His experience includes aircraft design, fabrication, installation, and project management. He has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. After graduation, he began working at The Aerostructures Corporation in Nashville, TN which included long term assignments at Airbus in Bristol, England and Boeing Everett, WA in Product Development. Bryan Was an aircraft design engineer in Skunk Works at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company working improvements and derivatives for airlift aircraft. Some of this work involved taking drag reduction technologies such as Winglets and Microvanes from conceptual design and through flight testing. At VCT he has been part of the 737 Finlet program from concept to STC. In addition to Design Engineering, Bryan has designed and maintained the CFD compute clusters and server architecture. He has received two LM Aero Star Team Awards (Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft and C-130 Microvanes Demonstration).
