Behzad Momahed Heravi

Behzad Momahed Heravi has a diverse work experience that spans over several prestigious organizations. Behzad most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Vortex IoT starting in April 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College London from October 2014 to January 2020. Behzad also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Royal Veterinary College from February 2013 to October 2014.

Before their research roles, Behzad worked as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at HW Communications Ltd from September 2011 to February 2013. In this position, they were responsible for contributing to the further development and maintenance of the company's advanced location technologies. Behzad played a leading part in the research, design, and development of the positioning systems, including statistical analysis, algorithm design, and data acquisition.

Prior to that, Behzad worked as a Research Associate at Lancaster University from March 2008 to September 2011. With this comprehensive work experience, Behzad has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various research and development roles.

Behzad Momahed Heravi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Azad University of Mashad, starting in 1999 and completing in 2003. Behzad then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, beginning in 2003 and finishing in 2005. Finally, they obtained a PhD in Computing & Communication Systems from Lancaster University, where their studies spanned from 2005 to 2010.
