Shane Barber is an experienced professional in sales and operations management, currently serving as Managing Director at Vortex® since November 2015, focusing on SolidEx - Rail Car Loading Systems. Prior roles at Vortex® include Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, and Sales Engineer, emphasizing application engineering for solids and bulk handling components. Previously, Barber worked as Operations Manager and Retail Manager at Delaware North Companies from December 2009 to November 2015, overseeing diverse operations in Yosemite National Park. Barber started the career as Program Manager at the University of Kansas from March 2005 to May 2007, following a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Kansas, earned in 2007.
