W. Bryce Orser

Bryce Orser is the Portfolio Manager for Vortus Investments. He has over 13 years of accounting and finance experience in the energy industry.

Prior to joining Vortus, Bryce worked for MorningStar Partners, L.P., a privately held business with investments in several exploration and production (“E&P”) companies, where he was critically involved in the design and implementation of the organization’s Corporate Finance, Treasury and Accounting systems and processes. At MorningStar, he oversaw the formation and development of three distinct operating companies deploying $4+ billion of capital over 10+ years. Previously, he worked in E&P Equity Research for Stephens Inc., a privately held independent financial services firm, before transitioning into their Corporate Finance Analyst Program where he used sophisticated financial modeling to help maximize value for the firm’s clients across several diverse industries.

Bryce graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in both accounting and finance from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University. He was a scholarship athlete on the TCU Swimming and Diving Team where he competed in middle- and long-distance freestyle. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is also an active member of the Professional Disc Golf Association.
