Shaun Wormald

Shaun Wormald has a diverse work experience in the field of unified communications and digital transformation management. Shaun is currently serving as the Vice President APAC at VOSS since 2020. In this role, they oversee the design, management, and automation of complex infrastructures for businesses to enhance communication and collaboration.

Prior to VOSS, Shaun founded Advisory 33 in 2019, where they provided advisory and consulting services in digital transformation management and service design thinking. Shaun focused on leveraging technology to help businesses thrive in the digital economy.

From 2017 to 2019, Shaun worked as the Vice President APAC at West Corporation. During their tenure, they successfully realigned the company's offerings and achieved impressive revenue growth through complex integrations and leveraged buy-outs.

Before West Corporation, Shaun held the position of Senior Director for Unified Communications, Product, and Shared Services APAC at West Unified Communications Services. Shaun managed various functions including product management and solutions consulting teams across the Asia Pacific region.

In 2001, Shaun became a Non-Executive Director at Broadreach Services, where they played a key role in forming and leading a managed services technology firm. Shaun also served as the CEO of Broadreach Services, providing visual communications and collaboration managed services to major Australian organizations.

Shaun began their career as a Project Director at IT&T Services in 2000 and later became the Managing Director of Sunesi Innovation Pty Ltd in 1998. At Sunesi Innovation, they developed medical devices and internet software for the healthcare and insurance industry.

Shaun's earlier experience includes working as the Telecommunications Manager at Santam Insurance from 1996 to 1998.

Shaun Wormald completed a Service Design Accelerator program at Academy Xi in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a B.COM (Hons) in Informatics from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria between 1987 and 1991. Shaun also holds a B.Com degree in Computer Science and Business Economics from Nelson Mandela University, which they completed from 1982 to 1985.

Additionally, Shaun Wormald has obtained various certifications, including Digital Transformation Management from CXO Transform in December 2019, RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders from LinkedIn in October 2019, and Leading Change from LinkedIn in September 2019. Shaun also received certifications in Project Management Essentials Certified from the Management and Strategy Institute in September 2019, Design Thinking: Venture Design from LinkedIn in August 2019, and Service Design from Academy Xi in August 2019.

Furthermore, Shaun Wormald has obtained certifications in Design Thinking: Implementing the Process, Design Thinking: Understanding the Process, Assessing Digital Maturity, and Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) in 2019. In 2018, they received certifications in DevOps Foundations: Lean and Agile, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Writing a Business Case, all from LinkedIn.
